Old County Road is on the San Mateo County Bicycle Master Plan. In Belmont the road is considered too narrow for bike lanes. However the sidewalk is utilized only for parking cars that the auto shops are working on. There is no legitimate sidewalk activity on the sidewalk to the west because the tracks preclude any pedestrian destinations.

On Ralston for the NDNU graduation the no parking signs blocking the bike lane were up from Friday to Monday.

This car is delicately obstructing both the bike lane and the sidewalk instead of parking in the driveway. Very close to an old folks home and school (see school xing sign in the background).
